Five Factors of Personality-http://www.psychologie.huberlin.de/psytests/ffm_en/
This study asked question after question and after a couple of pages of a wake of questions it got very upsetting. There were many question that were a bit confusing, I didn’t really think at all that this survey was effective, once I was done all it told me was the different types of people in the world and where most of the peoples personality’s are at, its didn’t really tell me anything about me really, well more like none. It was all facts on everyone in the world and didn’t say anything about my results in the survey.
I really liked, at points, doing this study. It helped me take a look on who I am (not like I don’t know already). There were a lot of questions and a lot of things I didn’t understand, but overall it was ok. I really “strongly agree” that it should of said more stuff at the end on how I did and my stats on my personal questions but it didn’t it told me the average about everyone in the world. But what can you do?
Relationship Views-http://mindstudies.psy.soton.ac.uk/ShowJava.aspxsname=RelFun5&w=800&h=450
This study was actually very exciting to do. It asked some good questions, it used words that a “normal” teenager would understand not big long confusing words that really made no sense to me. This was also very reassuring in ways; it made me look at my relationship differently (in very good ways). It also made me feel better about myself in different ways. The ending wasn’t what I really wanted or expecting, but overall it was very good.
Response to Postive Mood-http://psy.ex.ac.uk/~kaw208/survey/index.php?sid=4
This survey was very entertaining, it had a lot of good questions and it was all straight forward, either a yes or no, or true or false, or pick the best that descripes you. By the end od the second round I got a little restless. I really don’t like it when they don’t give me feedback, by the end it makes me think – what was the point?- but overall it was good
For the past years scientist have been gathering and capturing different types of animals, rabbits, rats, birds, you name it they have most likely tested some type of disease or treatment on them. In my perspective that is right out wrong, just because they may be helpless or unable to state their opinion doesn’t give scientist the right to test on them. They have feelings too. Take it this way, if someone came to your doorstep and asked you if they could test a type of treatment for cancer on your dog, why wouldn’t you? A dog is an animal, just like a rabbit or pig, its the cure of cancer! I bet anyone would say no, and no exceptions. Scientist have put cancer cells into a rat that made them grow tumors on their body and the scientist would test different unknown treatments to try and cure it. What if one day we end up not having no more animals because scientist get bored and try different treatments for different diseases on all sorts of animals, their part of our food chain, and most animals are a source of food for us, if you take out all of one thing out of our food chain how do you know that it wont mess with our circle of life?
